GUIDE

I was fascinated by some big wall arts in restaurants in Chinatown, so I would like to try to create an illustration for a Chinese restaurant. In this illustration, I combined hand-made textures and renderings to flat digital shapes and colors to make the dishes pop-out from the colorful environment and cheerful characters.

Junior Thesis

The year of 2020 has been a difficult time since the beginning, I would like to take a shelter from the chaotic world. Just rested on the bed and I started to imagine the fairies, the water, and flower roads around me and took the pain and annoyance away.
This piece was sketched in oil on canvas, then I redid the entire painting through Photoshop.

Dream
House
This piece illustrated my dream house. For me, a dream house is organized and accessible, as a result, I chose the limited color palette and isometric perspective to make the picture.
The sketches were done with pen and paper, then outlined with Adobe Illustrator and colored with Photoshop.

This piece is in the perspective of an unborn, the backgrounds are the vision and memories from the world. I chose the round canvas because when slowly rotating the picture, some parts of the scene become familiar while others remain undefined.
The entire picture was drawn with color pencils and some watercolors.
